Thor Y052 at 10yrs. old
Thor has been a fabulous addition to the genetics of our herd. He is tame and gentle and passes that onto his offspring as well. His pedigree includes such greats as Dreadlock, Wooly Bully (import) and Queen Allante (import). He is 3/4 wooly so he adds a little fiber to his offspring as well. Thor is an 'Imperial- Royal' meaning he can throw an Imperial Trim which has the black nose. Thor is quite easy to 'work', he LOVES to be brushed and is quite cooperative in the squeeze chute and hea ...

Little Miss Yulu is quite the looker! She has lots of white on her face, that comes all the way down to the tip of her nose. At birth it looked like a 'funnel cloud' on her face. The white on her chest starts high and runs all the way under her belly and between her back legs. She has white sock and a white stocking on her rear legs with white on the tip of her tail. I just love her beautiful Native Gray muzzle too. She has a nice heavy coat and will be a gorgeous mama someday! Yulu arrived a ...

HCC YALDO PEPPER was born 5/12/24 and is a Native Trim with '0' Cattle Alleles and Yak Mitochondria, we are asking $2250.00. He would be a great herd sire for anyone serious about breeding pure yaks.

His pedigree goes back 8 generation to Sargent Pepper C001 who was imported and the first yak ever to be registered with IYAK. He has great lineage on both sides. His mama Yulu 2G005 was born here and is a very tame Native Trim and papa Thor Y052 a Royal is a gentle giant (see picture), Yaldo is quite calm and laid back like his papa, he loves to be petted and scratched and will stand for light brushing and even fly spray! He has beautiful big bright, warm eyes that just melt my heart, he comes when called and he knows he is my special little buddy.

Yaldo is IYAK registered, DNA tested, wormed, vaccinated, weaned and is ready for pick up or delivery now. We will deliver for free within a 150mi. radius or meet and do a trailer-to-trailer swap. We can create a breeding pair or a starter herd with the help of other nearby ranchers. Heifer calves that are to go with him can even be brought here first, so they know each other prior to delivery.

Once a deposit is received (25%) you will get my 5+ page Yak Care Guide and other nutritional articles on yaks.*** All our adult yaks are registered with WHYC, so Yaldo can be too***
