Yama was born 6/5/17 and comes from our most famous bloodline with a pedigree to die for. As you can see her mama Yoyo (K004) is a HUGE Imperial cow...they don't breed them like her anymore. She is from the 'old lines' her great grand father was Sergeant Pepper C001, the FIRST yak ever registered with IYAK and one of the first group imported into the US. Yoyo has bull calves out there that reached 6' tall at the hump!
Yama Guchi not only has a 5 generation pedigree, but she will throw calves that will add 'size' to your stock. At just 12 days old, she sticks quite close to mama, but we can still sneak in a good head and butt scratch and can tell she is tempted to follow us for more. She is destined to be a lead cow for some lucky rancher, her size will intimidate the other cows for sure.
Yama will be vaccinated, Bangs shot and wormed before leaving us, and comes with a 5-page Yak Care Guide. We will deliver within a 150mi. radius or meet and reload calves into your trailer. A 25% deposit will hold her for you today.
NOTE; I have created a starter herd with Yama, Yodair 2D244 a Native Trim yearling bull and Missy another Native Trim heifer born 6/11/17. Missy's IYAK reg. is in process, She is a B2 and when bred to Yodair will produce Full Foundation yaks.
