HPY Thor Y052 (at HCC)

Bull (male) Royal

IYAK - Foundation# Y052,& nbsp;WHYC# Y052 DOB: 7/13/201112 yrs
Thor has been a fabulous addition to the genetics of our herd. He is tame and gentle and passes that onto his offspring as well. His pedigree includes such greats as Dreadlock, Wooly Bully (import) and Queen Allante (import). He is 3/4 wooly so he adds a little fiber to his offspring as well. Thor is an 'Imperial- Royal' meaning he can throw an Imperial Trim which has the black nose. Thor is quite easy to 'work', he LOVES to be brushed and is quite cooperative in the squeeze chute and hea ...

Yuka-lay-lee was another 'must have' after we lost her grandpa Sherpa H100 in 2012 and desperately wanted to keep his lines going. There is a very special story behind her date of birth, how we got her and her name. *Yuka-lay-lee was born 6/12/13 in Ridgeway CO, but to us we will always remember it as the first day of the horrible........ Black Forest Fire in CO......... that came within 1/4mi. of our ranch. *Yuka-lay-lee's breeder was Patty McNall with Pattyyaks. (Her herd sire Yuki Q ...

Details
Here at High Country Critters we are celebrating 19 years in yaks!! We raise 'seed stock' calves for breeding, showing, fiber or just pasture pets. All calves are IYAK registered as Full Foundation, wormed, vaccinated (heifers get the Bang's Vax too) and well socialized with people to the point of petting, scratching and brushing. We can create breeding pairs or starter herds with other local ranchers and those groups can be weaned here together so they are buddies prior to be delivered or picked up. We provide a 10 page Yak Care Guide as well as Nutritional requirements. We work with you as long as you own yaks, references available upon request.

The name of this little guy is Yutah Ute (born ...inspired by a trip Mike made to Utah in April to get one of our Golden Retrievers bred. Surprisingly Yutah is fascinated by our dogs, he comes to the fence when he sees them and gets kisses from our 14mo. old puppy. Yutah is a sweet calm calf always curious and comes to greet us when he gets the chance. His mama is our Yukalaylee A031 she is a Sherpa granddaughter...a special gift from my special friend Patty at Pattyyaks whom we lost in 2013. Yutah's sire is Thor Y052 and his gentle nature comes through in his calves. Yutah's price is $2200.
