Dog Boarding

Low rates & lots of room for your friendly dogs

Our dog kennel is pretty 'small time' it has 4 heated indoor/outdoor runs and has served us well for the past 17 yrs. We try to keep the price low ($20 per night for one dog per kennel, $35 for two per kennel) for our small community, past puppy buyers and fellow dog show enthusiasts. Please note there is a cancelation fee of 50% if you give us less than a 5 day notice to cancel your reservation. All the requirments can be found in the Dog Boarding Agreement.

The inside runs are 5.5’x 8’ (padded floor) the outside runs are 8’x14’. Inside runs have removable divider walls so multiple dogs from the same home can enjoy more room. Each run has a doggy door, dog bed and food and water bowls. A covered gutter inside runs the length of the building (32’), for easy clean up. A radio is provided at all times and nightlights are on all night long.

Outside runs have doors in-between and can be opened for more room. The ground outside is pea gravel over wire mesh & landscape fabric. There are raised platforms for laying on as well as pavers to walk on from doggy door to outside run door. The outdoor area is permanently covered, and shade slats are in the majority of the chain link for sun and wind block.

The doggy quests are allowed to be outside in the fenced yard (4') as well as in a 1.5 acre fenced pasture most of the day. Small dogs will need to remain in the kennel, but big dogs all need to get along and be able to run and play in the open areas. Aggressive dogs are not allowed.

We are licensed by the CO. Dept of Ag. with the PAFA program and current Proof of Vaccinations are required from your Vet. Rabies and Bordetella is a must, all 'core vaccines' are recommended, any others are your choice. The dog owner provides dog food (now raw diets), treats, toys, supplements and medicines. We do have a small refrigerator for canned food, yogurt, cold treats, etc. All medicines issued by a Vet need to come in their original bottle from the Vet or Pharmacy with your name and your dog's name on them. You can bring a bed for your dog or use one of ours (as long as they don't tear it up).

We have been raising Golden Retrievers for 33 years, 20 yrs. ago we switched to the English bloodlines only, with our foundation breeders being from Belgium and England. We are dog people; we love the boarders, and they seem to love us. For us we like to see a dog excited to come here and excited to go back home, that is a win/win situation.
